Released during the original PlayStation era, Worms Armageddon took Team17’s explosive turn-based formula and expanded it with an enormous arsenal of ridiculous weapons, multiplayer battles, missions and training modes.
Players command teams of heavily armed worms across destructible battlefields, carefully judging angles, wind and terrain before unleashing everything from bazookas and grenades to some of the series’ much stranger weapons. Its combination of strategy, chaos and local multiplayer helped make Worms Armageddon one of the most enduring entries in the franchise.
This copy features the distinctive Best of Infogrames Strategy packaging, making it an interesting variation for collectors alongside the standard PAL release.
